The Airports Ground Operations Crew will load and unload Customer luggage, meet arriving flights, help prepare and clean cabin for departure, operate ground service equipment, assist with fleet servicing, assist Customers with special needs, and any ad-hoc requests as needed. Depending on location, the Airports Ground Operations Crew will load and unload provisioning items for each flight.. Flexibility of schedule is necessary as the position requires working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Maintaining a positive, good natured attitude through any problem is essential.

Job Summary: Maintain or repair of some or all of the following; aircraft, aircraft engines, aircraft components and avionics systems according to Delta and FAA specifications. Perform inspections during assembly of part and after repair or installation of component. Documenting maintenance procedures to include; component damage, component origin, and condition of component, components or equipment. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

The Ground Mechanic performs as a semi-skilled mechanic in maintenance of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). This position is responsible for utilizing appropriate tooling, equipment and material to accomplish maintenance functions including but not limited to the following: inspections, minor troubleshooting, repairing, removing and replacing components on all Ground Support functions. Ground Maintenance Mechanic may also assist a Ground Maintenance Technician Lead or a Ground Maintenance Technician on equipment.

The CO-OP Engineer Technical Services primary role for Engine Maintenance Operations is to participate in and lead projects in support of engine maintenance production. This includes but are not limited to project management, process improvement, coordination of meetings, creating presentations and analyzing data and metrics. As a participant of the CO-OP, the successful candidate will have the opportunity the work with both internal and external customers from all levels of management.
