National Account Representative | Boston
Northwest Airlines is seeking a qualified candidate for a National Account Representative in the Corporate and Agency Sales division of our Marketing/Sales department. This is a full time position located in Boston.
Develop and secure incremental revenue and market share for defined corporate and agency portfolios. Make sales calls on contracted as well as targeted corporate and agency accounts. Negotiate agency and corporate incentive programs that meet or exceed Northwest’s revenue and profitability targets.
Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of one – two years corporate sales experience. Experience in the airline or travel industry preferred. Demonstrated experience in creating, implementing and achieving sales plans is a must. Understands opportunities within Account Portfolio and can build plans to get each sale. Interprets quantitative and qualitative data, drawing insights and conclusions. Integrates well with external alliance partners and works co- hesively to craft optimal deals for Northwest Airline’s, the customer and alliance partners. Demonstrates desire to close each sale and succeed in exceeding expectations of peers, managers, and customers. Contributes to an environment of shared goals and high enthusiasm among immediate and extended team.
