Responsible for the expeditious flow of aircraft to and from gates, ramp areas and non-movement areas.
Coordinate with Airport Ticketing Office (ATO) Ramp Manager and Operations Controller as required to determine flights that require priority handling for optimum Department of Transportation (DOT) performance or otherwise require special consideration.
Must possess a good working knowledge of aircraft performance and ATO traffic flows.
Additional duties include managing ground movement of aircraft/separation of departure fixes to the extent feasible to assist Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Ground Control to expedite departure/maintain a constant vigilance of traffic flows and suggest appropriate actions.
Must be able to perform multi-task operations and be accurate and effective in issuing verbal instructions.
Qualifications
High School diploma/General Education Development (GED) or equivalent required.
