Directs and coordinates, through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with planning for MOC and Line Maintenance divisions. Responsible for implementations and carrying out objectives in the MOC planning organization. Develops and implements methods for monitoring performance of work groups within the Line Maintenance as directed. Coordinate between Planning and other support departments. Ensure all aspects of fleet planning are covered in order to forecast work load efficiently and reduce maintenance impact on airline operations.
 Requirements
College degree or equivalent experience required
Must have complete understanding of MOC planning systems.
Knowledge of AA Planning departments and support groups as they relate to MOC.
Must have line maintenance and base maintenance production experience.
Strong multi-tasking skills required.
Must be able to solve complex problems involving multiple departments or individual items.
Must be able to proactively identify planning problems and find quick efficient solutions.
Must be able to persuade others to adopt new concepts and planning models.
Follow standard practices and procedures, uses wide application of concepts and previous experiences to determine course of action.
Recommends plans for effective implementation of longer term projects, and identifies business process redesign implications.
Monitors daily operation of MOC planning, supervises mainly management level personnel, manages multiple project plans, and accomplishes results through supervisors and managers.
