Responsibilities

As an intern in Continental’s Scheduling and Planning Department, you will be involved in the planning, coordination, and implementation of Continental’s route network that:
o Requires thorough evaluation of assigned markets and other strategic initiatives.
o Analysis of current market forces, including passenger demand, competitive environment, economic conditions, and growth potential to maximize profitability.
o Requires proficiency in detailed data retrieval from internal and external sources, robust data modeling, and evaluation of strategic issues.
* The ideal candidate will also be able to work with large amounts of data and under changing conditions to draw accurate conclusions that will benefit the Continental network.
* Working with short, critical deadlines, requires ability to make recommendations to senior management on how to improve network profitability.
* Provide analytical support to other team members and internal stakeholder on fleet, real estate, long-range planning, and other route initiatives.

Qualifications

* The qualified candidate should be working towards a graduate degree (MBA or Masters degree) with an emphasis in aviation, business, finance, or other related field.
* Strong leadership, management, communication, and analytical

skills required.
* Able to multitask effortlessly.
* Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Must be legally authorized to work/study in the US for any employer without sponsorship.

This position is located at Little Rock, AFB

Description:

Responsible for the functional administration of all students/instructors, training schedules, maintaining required documents and producing a daily training schedule and coordinating all contract personnel for the JMATS Little Rock AFB site. Plans, schedules and directs the daily operation of the training.

Requirements:

* AA/AS or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred
* Must possess a minimum of 5+ years administrative experience
* Industrial/government/military security process experience preferred
* Detail oriented
* Work with minimal supervision
* Able to establish and administer suspense actions, manual and computerized file systems
* Computer literate, experienced and proficient with Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
* Ensure all students are registered, tracked and scheduled through the electronic process, providing all necessary reports as required by the SOW and contract CLIN’s
* Maintain department schedules, arranges meetings, classes, conferences and assists in formulation and production of materials for instructional purposes
* Creates all daily schedules for the C-130 JMATS Formal Training Unit at Little Rock AFB
* Maintains a collection of technical orders, Air Force publications, documents and other materials
