Position Summary:
* Responsible for the overall operation of the inspection department and as such, completes final inspection of airframes and engines prior to return of service. In addition, the inspector is responsible for directing, planning and laying out the details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used in complying with all applicable FAR, manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.
Functions Of the Job:
* Developing testing and implementing policies as directed.
* Supervising the activities of assigned personnel, including development, safety and security.
* Devise and implement short-range planning for scheduled maintenance activities.
* Ascertain all inspections are properly performed.
* Maintaining aircraft records, files of completed work orders and inspection forms.
* Keep current regulatory and OEM data.
* Develop and manage CASS. Management of RII program.
* Manage stockroom and receiving procedures.
* Assure current calibration of tooling.
* Assure outside vendors meet established standards.
* Manage aircraft conformity process.
* Act as DOM as required.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for Position:
Experience:
* 10 Years Aviation experience required.
* 3-5 years experience in 135 and 121 environment required.
Skills/attributes:
* Ability to take initiative and work independently.
* Strong communication skills.
* Demonstrate an ability to manage time and priorities.
* Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientation.
* Proficient with MS Office products and Access
* Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics
* Ability to calculate algebraic equations
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and federal guidelines furnished in written and oral form.
Education:
* A&P required
* Minimum 2 year college degree required.

Performs assigned inspection functions in accordance with company general procedures and other company manuals to ensure aircraft are airworthy and serviceable
Duties:
* Determine airworthiness of aircraft
* Enforce requirements of the Mesa GPM.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Inspector.
* Reviews and audits aircraft log books.
* Reviews all associated documents that are utilized for aircraft inspections.
Requirements:
* A&P license for at least 4 years and meet 14 CFR requirements of FAR 65.83.
* Available for occasional travel.
* 1 year of inspection experience on aircraft with 10 or more passenger seats.
Salary: $21,840-$33,280
Duties Include:
This person will need to test and inspect manufacturing and overhaul of electro-mechanical activators, bleed air control systems, air-conditioning systems and electric motors. A large portion of this position will be inspecting the received parts. Update and maintain QC, FAA manuals and military standards and procedures. Coordinate with outside labs for calibration and certification of test equipment.
