Responsibilities
* Responsible for repair and maintaining the physical structure of the kitchen.
* Record meter reading and temperatures for electric, gas and water.
* Perform monthly preventive maintenance on mechanical appliances and equipment.
* Complete work orders assigned by Maintenance – Lead and/or manager.
* Change chemical for Warewashing machine.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the department and kitchen.
* Operate ice plant equipment and bag ice with supervision.
* Blow down boiler and feed chemical.
* Operate and maintain emergency generator and refuel.
* Add salt to water softener equipment.
* Operate company vehicles, forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, baler and other mechanical equipment.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Refrigeration recovery license preferred.
* Knowledge of basic math skills.
* Ability to read and understand diagrams, schematic and blue prints.
* One-year work experience in one or more of the following facility maintenance trades that include: refrigeration, electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, refrigeration recovery, boiler repair or general building repair.
* High School diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must be able to read, speak and write English.
* Valid driver’s license and current driving abstract.
* Obtain a 10-year background for FAA security access.

* Continuous attention to detail and alertness while performing maintenance functions.
* Must be able to work any shift in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
