Continental has an opening for a maintenance supervisor for the right person.
Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating all in-service maintenance problems.
Evaluate maintenance discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate departments to accomplish a prompt resolution.
Assign technicians and related personnel in accordance with schedule requirements.
Responsible for the development and leading of assigned maintenance personnel.
Ensure maintenance activities are performed in full compliance with all Company, Manufacturers and Governmental Regulations.
Qualifications
FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) A&PÂ (Airframe & PowerPlant) certificate.
Ten years maintenance background, five of which directly supervise employees.
High school graduate required, some college preferred.
Strong people skills, with the ability to motivate the workforce.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Shift work required.
‘Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA (Transportation Security Administration), Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
