The CO-OP Engineer Technical Services primary role for Engine Maintenance Operations is to participate in and lead projects in support of engine maintenance production. This includes but are not limited to project management, process improvement, coordination of meetings, creating presentations and analyzing data and metrics. As a participant of the CO-OP, the successful candidate will have the opportunity the work with both internal and external customers from all levels of management. The successful candidate will be responsible for consistently practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Job Qualifications:The CO-OP Engineer Technical Services requires that a candidate must be a sophomore or junior undergraduate student in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering. Must be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university. Candidate must have demonstrated leadership abilities in coursework and extracurricular activities. Strong business knowledge, MRO knowledge or experience a plus. Must have strong organizational skills and project management ability. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must have good teamwork and interpersonal skills. Candidate must have ability to communicate, coordinate, manage, and interact with Senior Management to front-line personnel. As well as the strong ability to work within a team environment to creatively solve technical problems and be able to work with minimum supervision. Candidate must be proficient in Windows PC with strong knowledge and ability in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.
