Flight attendants assist in the performance of cabin and/or ground service by ensuring the safety, welfare, comfort, and enjoyment of customers. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE to any of our 17 domiciles which consist of Salt Lake City, UT, Portland, OR, Chicago, IL, Tucson, AZ, Denver, CO, Colorado Springs, Co, San Diego/Carlsbad, CA (co-domicile), San Luis Obispo/Santa Maria, CA (co-domicile), Fresno, CA, Monterey, CA, Palm Springs, CA, Sacramento, CA, Santa Barbara, CA, Milwaukee, WI, Atlanta, GA, Los Angeles, CA (reserve only), and San Francisco, CA (reserve only). You will be assigned a domicile upon graduation of Initial New Hire training. Domicile assignments are based on the operational need of SkyWest so you may be asked to relocate to a different area initially even if you currently live in one of our 17 domiciles.
Requirements:
College Courses or a degree as well as previous customer service experience is preferred. A High School diploma or a GED is required.
The FAA requires FBI fingerprinting for all applicants being considered for a crewmember position. If you have been convicted of a criminal misdemeanor or felony within the last five years you are not eligible for a crewmember position due to Canadian Immigration Regulations. If the conviction was between the last five to ten years or if you have had more than one conviction than you must complete the Canadian Criminal Rehabilitation process prior to being considered for the position.
You need to meet our minimum age requirement of 21 years of age at the time of interview. We have no age limit!
Your height must be between 5′0 and 5′8 without shoes due to the internal size of our aircraft. For your safety, there are no exceptions to this requirement. Your height will be verified at the time of interview.
Your vision should not exceed 20/40 corrected.
