Charter Flight Coordinators | Oxford, CT
Tradewind Aviation is currently recruiting for qualified Charter Flight Coordinators to be based in Oxford, CT.
General Summary:
This position is responsible for the sales and scheduling of aircraft activity and trips.
Qualifications:
Superb customer service skills, basic aircraft knowledge, basic recordkeeping abilities and comprehensive computer skills using mainstream applications and databases. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of business aviation experience to include domestic and international flight coordination as applies to Part 135 and Part 91 operations. Must be able to communicate effectively, resolve time sensitive problems and work with minimal supervision in a team driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build and maintain cordial relationships with clients. Receive and process charter quotes and flight requests. Build, manage and distribute flight itineraries and trip details to pertinent departments and personnel. Ensure all steps in the booking process are managed accordingly. Maintain thorough customer databases. Participate in on-call rotation. Attend, comply and complete training that pertains to the department or the company. Understand and implement the procedures of the General Operations Manual. Other duties as assigned.
