Responsible for providing flight and ground instruction to students. Provide ground school instruction and flight training to students who are pursuing private, commercial, instrument and instructor licenses. Insure all flight training is done safely following all FAA regulations and company policies. Required to properly log all training in student training records and enter billing information into the company accounting system. Also will perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills/Requirements
Must be able to plan and organize ground and flight lessons. Strong communication and teaching skills needed. Lots of customer contact requires a high level of customer service ability. This job requires the person to work independently with good decision making and evaluation skills. Attention to detail and good piloting skills are a must.
- Must be a FAA licensed Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Instrument Instructor Helicopter (CFII)
- Must have SFAR 73 CFI Endorsement
- Must have attended the Robinson Safety Course
- Applicant must pay for initial review and check out flights and any additional training required as a result of those flights and/or for area & procedure familiarization.
Job Conditions:
Must be able to climb in and out of aircraft and conduct proper pre-flight inspections of aircraft.
Must be willing to be available a variety of hours to accomodate needs for day and night flights.
Weekday and weekend work will be required.
