Lufthansa is looking for an operations agent to ensure proper loading/unloading of aircraft according to
standard internal and external safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the daily operation/flight activities
• Maintain daily trip files and station traffic report as well as all
aircraft-handling related statistical data
• Perform W/B and ramp functions
• Operational safety/load security checks on aircraft prior to
departure, which also includes the coordination of all operational
activities during irregularities
• Coordination of all phases of aircraft handling, including catering,
cleaning, fueling, crew and passenger,
• Supervision of Handling Agent during all phases of aircraft
loading/unloading, including checking on correct
buildup/preparation of cargo – destined for bulk loading or in unit
load devices.
• Ensure all cargo or luggage is properly and securely strapped
into the compartments
• Responsible to keep track of the number of passengers, pieces of
luggage and the amount of fuel
• work very closely with ramp personnel and the airport station
manager or deputy
• Secure the proper handling of Bagscan
• Ensure fulfillment of SLA and requirements from the handling
company
• Provide daily monitoring report to the Manager about handling
performance, document delays and reasons.
• Communicate with FRA/MUC for crew rotation and secure proper
amount of rooms according to new schedules
• Communicate with crew-hotel and crew transportation and
coordinate crew issues
• Responsible for LBI control
• Other duties as assigned or required may include:
- Administrative tasks such as daily statistics, monthly airport
reports, hotel and crew transportation invoices, catering invoices
as well as SOKO payment tracking
- Clear station deliveries from cargo and store them accordingly
- Baggage Service : assist passengers with lost and damaged
baggage
- Prepare PIR’s, Baggage Settlements/handle VIP-requests,
process Q’s
- Perform Passenger handling (Departures/Interline/
Arrivals/Immigrations)
- Daily communication and coordination with Airport Authorities
Job Requirements:
- Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
- High school graduate
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
