Leads and directs Training supervisor and specialists. Approves course curricula, including course length and training objectives, methods and standards. Effects personnel chances, as necessary, including hiring, disciplining and terminating personnel. Interprets labor agreements and engages in negotiations as needed, including processing grievances. Responsible for development and management of the Maintenance Training Budget. Manages workloads and staffing levels. Develops and publishes Training policy, procedures and letters, utilizes database and responds to FAA investigations and concerns. Performs other duties by the Director of Reliability and Training.
Job Requirements
- Four-year degree in Education, Business or technical field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to handle large volume of work while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple assignments with minimum supervision
- Must be able to professionally communicate with different departments and customers.
- Five years experience managing personnel, preferably in a labor relations environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements a plus.
