American Eagle Airlines is accepting applications for a Manager of Crew Resources.
Job Description:
Directs a staff of two crew planners in forecasting pilot and flight attendant requirements and managing placement of crew resources to optimize coverage required by the company’s flight schedule. Allocates pilot resources to bid status positions defined by domicile, equipment and seat. Allocates flight attendant resources to bid status positions defined by domicile. Determines new hire requirements and coordinates hiring needs with Recruiting and training requirements with Flight and Flight Service Training. Makes decisions on how to allocate flight hours based on available staffing. Produces and distributes document to pilots which provides timing information for base transfers and training events. Develops and applies software models for forecasting and reporting processes. Conducts periodic pilot system vacancy/displacement bids and makes awards in accordance with pilot contract rules. Deals directly with ALPA and pilots on staffing and vacation issues
 Job Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
- Candidate must be able to perform complex mathematical calculations and analyses.
- Candidate must also show strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to understand and apply the applicable provisions of union agreements.
- Exceptional spreadsheet Skills is a plus.
Education: College degree with emphasis in business, statistics, or mathematics or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Must have experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously and working effectively under deadline pressure. Familiarity with Flight Operating Systems and American Eagle pilot contract is desirable.
