We’re seeking a marketing analyst to join our team. The marketing analyst will report to the Marketing Information Manager, at our Norwalk, CT headquarters. The analyst will be responsible for the collection and analysis of information needed to maintain and expand Virgin Atlantic’s position in the marketplace. Duties include but are not limited to the compiling and evaluation of a portfolio of UK HQ-produced data that includes revenue, forward passenger loads, market share and yield reports to produce summaries and recommendations. The analyst will also assist in US pricing strategy development by identifying opportunities within passenger booking loads and the compiling of competitive information including market share, capacity share, pricing initiatives, market development, and sales strategy for presentation to our Senior Executive Team.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor degree in statistics, business or information systems along with 2-4 years of marketing or business experience. Experience in application programming and analysis, including investigation design and implementation of new hardware and software solutions is desirable. You must have an ability to manage multiple complex projects, with strong attention to detail, schedules and budgets. You must also have excellent communication and presentation skills along with proven knowledge of Notes, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of the travel industry is preferred but not required. The successful candidate must be able to travel by car, plane or train and work extended hours as required.
