Ground Operations Coordinator | Purchase, NY
Job Purpose:
To represent ground operations in the Global Control Center. In this GCC position, the specialist will interface with every other department in the GCC as well as all Polar and Atlas stations to provide updates and coordinate between stations to move cargo in the most time and cost effective manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accountable for monitoring of station functions and responsibilities and effective communication with entities inside and outside of the GCC
• Other accountabilities would be tracking lost shipments and monitoring priority shipments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ideal applicant has an airline background in ground operations
• Other key attributes would include computer skills, communication skills, and organizational skills
