Southwest Airlines is accepting applications for a Provisioning Agent Supervisor.
Job Duties:
- Train and Mentor Agent to ensure they are aware of appropriate regulations, procedures, and Company policies;
- Review work performance and meets with agents to ensure their performance, attendance and appearance meet Company requirements;
- Has knowledge of and implements the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement;
- Prepares proper paperwork associated with each flight to ensure accuracy;
- Coordinates with other Southwest Airlines Airport Teams to maintain the Stations on-time performance;
- Ensures that all Provisioning vehicles are properly maintained.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid drivers licence with a good driving record.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements.
- For airport security access, job seekers must have no conviction, guilty plea, or judgment not guilty by reason of insanity in last 10 years for any of the following disqualifying criminal offenses, as determined by the federal Transportation Security Administration
- College coursework or degree would be an asset;
- Airline or related Leadership experience is desirable;
- Ability to work fast and under tight timelines to ensure timely flight departures with quick turns and the ability to handle many functions at once with many different offices and/or Team of people;
- You will need to be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays and overtime;
- Ability to type and/or use computer keyboard with sufficient speed;
- Ability read and write English;
- Attend and successfully complete a training program in Dallas, Texas as well as on the job training.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds or more with assistance, if needed;
- May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises;
- Works in the area of the Ramp, Passenger Terminal and Ware house facilities;
- Work on a Provisioning truck and stands at heights of 10 feet or above;
- Must be able to perform the job of a Provisioning Agent
