Quality Assurance Auditor | Maxjet Airways
The Quality Assurance Auditor reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance. This position is based at Dulles Airport, but requires significant travel.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct audits of contactors, company aircraft records, maintenance activities, contactor vendors and company facilities to ensure compliance to FAA regulations and company policy;
* Monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations to improve, if necessary, the audit procedures;
* Conducts review of information from the Data Collection Analyst;
* Responsible for reporting irregularities or making suggestions to avoid a potential problem as referenced in the Interface Process Measurement System (IPMS);
* Perform internal audits of aircraft records with emphasis on AD Compliance Limitations;
* Maintain a current listing of all approved contractors and vendors that include dates of audits and deadlines for re-audits;
* Maintain files of all vendor and contractor audits performed;
* Consistent monitoring of audit schedules, ensuring audit schedules are defined and adhered to;
* Coordinate with Materials to prioritize external vendor audits;
* Assist in vendor and company procedures training, including the Maintenance Training Program
Requirements:
* Valid FAA A&P certificate;
* Demonstrated auditing experience with a part 121 certified air carrier;
* Familiarity with FAA regulations;
* Previous heavy jet maintenance experience;
* Must be willing to travel 50% of the time;
* Must have valid passport or be willing to acquire one;
* Previous affiliation with CASE and knowledge CASE requirements preferred
