Job description:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for accomplishing the audit function of the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance Program (CASP) per 14 CFR 121.373. The Quality Assurance Specialist conducts thorough examination and evaluations of the total Maintenance System to ensure compliance with the Skybus Airlines maintenance procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations. The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to the Director of Quality.
Qualification Requirements:

- Valid FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic license
- Minimum 3 years part 121 or 135 airline experience in aircraft maintenance, quality control and/or quality assurance with comprehensive knowledge of quality systems, standards and regulations
- Minimum 1 year previous airline or part 145 repair station Quality Assurance Auditor experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Working knowledge of Federal and industry regulations and standards including OSHA (29 CFR 1900), EPA (40 CFR), ATA Standards and NFPA Standards
