Air Wisconsin Airlines is accepting applications for a Shift Manager – Ramp.
Job Duties:
• Responsible for all operational performance requirements on shift by shift basis.
• Supervises the Ramp Service Agents.
• Ensures accountability in regards to meeting and maintaining performance goals.
• Assists Ramp Manager with budget and operation cost control.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, company policy and procedures, and the collective bargaining agreements.
• Maintains station operational reports and statistics.
• Maintains pass down activity log for next shift.
• Ensures appropriate follow through on issues that develop during their shift.
• Evaluates manpower and scheduling requirements and makes recommendations to the Ramp Manager.
• Maintains airport relations with other carriers including UAL and other departments of AWAC.
• Actively participates in ramp operations during irregular operations.
Job Requirements:
• Thorough knowledge of Customer Service / Operations functions.
• Two years prior experience in customer service/operations position.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Driver’s license
