The Technical Services Specialist will provide administrative support to the Technical Services Department.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for administrative functions of the electronic training record database for all applicable Technical Services personnel.
- The Technical Services Specialist is responsible for evaluating and making recommendations to coordinate the monthly and annual training schedules in cooperation with the Corporate Assistant Director of Maintenance. Administers the Technical Library system to ensure that maintenance technical and company generated manuals are current and available. Tracks revision status and distribution of all technical Services Manuals
- Prepares FAA or other Government Agency correspondence as directed by the Vice President of Operations of the Director of Maintenance.
- Ensure that accurate aircraft information is being provided to the various industry databases including but not limited to Wyvern and ARGUS, via FOS export or direct data entry.
- Apply for and record / process all Radio Station Licenses for new aircraft. Cancel as appropriate when aircraft are removed from the Air Carrier Certificate.
Qualifications:
Minimum of High School degree or equivalent.
Basic computer skills including MS Office products (Word, Outlook). FOS knowledge a plus.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess the ability to function independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
