Provides leadership, direction, and development to the line maintenance employees to assure they are accountable for their duties, responsibilities, and actions to identify, communicate, and solve problems within the area. Provides communication and follow-up in other areas to help assure that the problems outside his/her scope can be solved
Job Requirements
- A&P license required
- Formal training on B737, B757, A319/A320/321 Aircraft
- Associate degree or two years college in a technical field
- Five years experience on commercial heavy jet transport aircraft
- Previous supervisory/lead experience in a Line Maintenance workforce
- Prior experience in a unionized environment
- Working knowledge of US Airways maintenance policies and procedures
- Possess good interpersonal and coaching skills
- Must be a senior technician or above
- Demonstrated ability for leadership and direction on repairs of company aircraft
- Valid drivers license required/Drug test required
